The TS 420 is a compact and robust disc cutter with extremely low vibrations and a high performance engine. Supplied as standard with a 14 inch / 350 mm abrasive cutting wheel.

Superbly comfortable to use

Due to STIHL's anti-vibration technology, the level of vibrations present at the machine's handles are significantly reduced. This is because the oscillations of the machine's engine are dampened, making for a more comfortable operating experience. This model also uses the ElastoStart system, which takes the shock caused by the compression of the engine when starting away from your hands and arms. Thanks to the ergonomic grip position and loop handle, you can also rely on the TS 420's excellent cutting comfort in any working position.

Powerful & durable

With a 2-MIX 2-stroke STIHL engine with stratified charge, the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle is significantly reduced. You can expect high power with a low weight, up to 20 percent lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke machinery and significantly reduced exhaust emissions. Semi automatic drive belt tensioning increases the service life of the belts and shaft bearings, while a pre-separation air filtration system achieves perceptibly longer filter life compared to conventional technology, by ejecting larger, heavier particles before they reach the filter.

Easy, straightforward operation

The water supply to this unit is through the standard water connection with a sprinkler system, which effectively suppresses the dust produced during cutting. This is supplied to the device in such a way as to not interfere with your work. While starting the machine, you can use the manual fuel pump to deliver fuel to the carburettor with a button press, reducing the number of starting strokes required after breaks in operation. The TS 420 can be used handheld, or mounted on to a FW 20 cart.
