Efficient, innovative engine

With STIHL's 2-MIX engine design, the FS 70 C-E has a 2-stroke engine with stratified charge, resulting in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption compared to regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

Straightforward, labour-saving starting process

A simplified starting system means you simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer and pull the starter cord to get going. In addition, ErgoStart means it takes only one third of the force to pull the cord, while the effort in general necessary to start the machine is halved. A manual fuel pump is available to deliver fuel to the carburettor at a button press, reducing the number of starting strokes required after extended breaks in operation.

Comfortable operation

With the bike-handled standard on this model, you can expect a smooth mowing action when used in conjunction with a harness. This makes it ideal for mowing large areas as the machine is easily guided. A multi-function control handle also means your hand never has to leave the handle, with important operating controls well within reach.
