Higher reliability & performance with easier starting

Thanks to its premium, high quality 27.2cc full crank engine, backed up by a Walbro carburettor, you can expect high levels of reliable performance from the 270LX. Lower emissions will be produced compared to previous generation versions, and with Mitox's Auto Choke system on board, starting is also far easier. This uses set positions for hot and cold starting, plus automatically returns the switch to idle once the throttle is pulled.

Versatile enough for a variety of garden jobs

Supplied with the 270LX is a nylon auto bump head, which lets you easily renew the cutting line as it becomes worn, just by tapping the head on the ground, plus a three tooth metal grass blade. This blade is the best choice for dealing with thicker areas of grass and weeds, while the nylon head is intended for lighter grass that it will effortlessly slice through.

A comfortable model to operate

With the harness provided and being a loop handled machine, you can enjoy accurate trimming in close quarters while also being able to work for longer without fatigue. Full anti-vibration support in the handles ensures vibrations are minimised, for a machine that is much more enjoyable to use.
